Meet the Directors
The Digital IP Directors and management team have over 70
years experience in the IT and Telecommunications industry and have held senior roles within
the UK Telecoms industry. They are experts in the field of Indirect Access
voice, Data solutions, IT and Billing.
Together they have a very detailed knowledge of the industry together with well established relationships with the leading players and network
operators.
Keith Inch - Managing Director
With more than 30 years experience in the technology and
communication sectors, from 1978 to 1995 Keith worked in a series of senior management
roles with Plessey, Quantum and Alcatel. He established communications
specialists Digital Exchange Scotland Ltd in 1997, evolving to Digital IP
which has grown to become a significant player in the
Scottish Telephony and IT Solutions marketplace.

Dougie MacMillan - Technical Director
|
Dougie has more than 25 years experience in the telecoms sector, working in
companies such as; National Radiophone, Quantum, Alcatel and Scotia Telecom.
Dougie founded Telecoms and IT specialists Digital Exchange Scotland Ltd (later
to become Digital IP) in partnership with Keith Inch in 1997. |
Robert Adie - IT Director

With 10 Years experience in information technology, from 1997 to 2000, Robert
worked in various Quality Assurance, Project Management, Security and IT roles
with the UK Ministry of Defence, while gaining a BSc in Electronic and Software
Engineering from the University of Glasgow. After establishing a successful IT
consultancy business, Robert joined Digital IP as IT Director in 2003. In 2009
he was awarded an MVP - Microsoft Most Valuable Professional. The MVP Award is
given to exceptional technical community leaders who foster the free and
objective exchange of knowledge by actively sharing their real-world expertise
with technology users. |
Lesley Sutherland, ACCA - Finance Director

Employed by Digital Exchange Scotland Ltd in 1997 as the office administrator,
Lesley has worked her way up to become Finance Director through experience,
knowledge of the business and personal development. In the last few years
she has also been studying towards an ACCA qualification which has been
completed and Lesley became a member of in 2009. |
Our Staff - People Development
Digital IP also recognise that the development of our people is something that goes hand
in hand with continuous quality improvement. For that reason Digital IP is
committed to staff development and we liaise closely with our manufacturers and
suppliers to ensure that staff attain the highest standards of product
knowledge, consultancy expertise and product installation skills. Our fully
trained engineers regularly attend training with Microsoft in the UK and the US,
to ensure that they have the skills to manage the most up to date technologies
Digital IP is also involved in a government supported Knowledge Transfer
Partnership with Glasgow Caledonian University which enables the to access the
academic, technical and management expertise available in the University as
required.
