Five years ago Dougie MacMillan, Digital IP's Sales and Marketing Director contacted Charlie McAteer, the Concert Hall's Facilities Manager convinced he could reduce telephone charges, and he was right. He was also sure the savings made from this would pay for the modernisation of the Hall's ageing telephone system. With figures confirmed and orders placed, Digital's team of project managers and engineers soon installed a new state-of-the art Siemens Hi-Com telephone system.
This investment has proven fruitful with the implementation of the City Halls project. A multimillion pound refurbishment of the famous Glasgow City Halls concert venue due for completion early in the New Year and run by the Concert Hall management team. Teaming up again with Digital IP, who seamlessly linked the existing Concert Hall telephone system with a new Siemens HiPath 3000 system being installed in the City Halls site.
