Under the British Gas name in England, the Nwy Prydain and British Gas names in Wales, and Scottish Gas in Scotland, British Gas supply gas and electricity to residential customers throughout Great Britain. As well as energy, they offer millions of customers an increasing choice of complementary home services.

Digital IP has a sister company, City Park Technologies, where they have a call centre hotel comprising 250 lines and some 18,000 square feet in what was the old WD & HO Will’s Cigarette Factory at Alexandra parade in Glasgow. 150 British Gas call centre staff are employed there and Digital IP provide a complete managed solution for clients using the centre, right down to office furniture as well as IT and communications infrastructure and applications. Partnering to service this major contract with British Gas, the key to which was ensuring that the solution provided exceeded the high level of business continuity they required.
